I am always looking for ways to combine my day planner with my creative side. I am also a scrapbooker. Oh my- the paper and supplies and the Washi Tape and pens.
Often times we feel like we don't have enough time in the day. I was lucky enough to find a book that I found very helpful. "I know how she does it" by Laura Vanderkam. The book explains how to block out every aspect of your day and then analyze it to make the most of the day, she explains that often people find 3-4 extra hours in the week.
I am currently using a 365 create happy planner. I have been very happy with the size of the squares for writing and blocks of time. My New Year's plan is to follow the template in the book and see where i might gain some more "me Time"
To keep track of family, work and my side business ( in one planner) I have assigned different coloured pens for the different jobs. It makes it easier for faster reference.
I think I enjoy buying the pretty planner and paper and accessories more then like getting organized. I could spend hours browseing Pinterest on date books and creative vision journals. Lost in the creativity of others.
